CAMPFIRE

WINNER - WA Touring Award, Melbourne Fringe 2024

PACK YOUR BAG FOR THE ULTIMATE CAMPING ADVENTURE!

Best buds Louis and Griffin are heading out on the ultimate trip into the outback - fingers crossed nothing goes wrong!

Campfire is a fun, jumpscare-comedy from sunset to sunrise. Physical theatre and circus collide as two men scramble to survive the night, seemingly pursued by an unseen assailant out for blood. Physical theatre mixed with stage trickery, casting shadows, and an unsettling soundtrack (peppered with unexpected bops) keep the audience on their toes as the duo perform circus acrobatics fused with progressively frantic movement as they perform their daring escape - all to ask the question: why won't guys just talk about what they're scared of, even when lives are at stake??

Attempts on her Life

by Martin Crimp

a dynamic, site-specific adventure reverberating with a late 20th century aesthetic

Directed by Angelica Clunes and Samuel Boyd, audiences move from one room to the next in a phantasmagoria of images, examining how a single moment can impact on a life, and how quickly an identity can be demolished. Moving between comedy, pop-opera, campfire ghost-story and absurdist tragedy, this compelling work leaves the audience to decide who Anne could be in this brilliant theatrical labyrinth.

Translated into 20 languages and played to audiences around the world, Attempts on Her Life is an arresting and hilarious theatre work of 17 scenarios that explores our understanding of the human psyche. In a media-drenched world obsessed with uncovering the ‘truth’, Attempts on Her Life is both timely and relevant.

Mostly lost to COVID,

Catacylsm

A sensorial skirmish of circus and dance.

Inspired by the ‘3.5% rule’ – the idea that a small group of individuals can incite change in the modern world –  Cataclysm is a gritty and disarming 55-minute circus work of dynamic aerials and contemporary dance. Featuring some of Australia’s next best circus talent, these acrobats pulsate on stage with electrifying skills including aerial straps, acrobatic tumbling, roue Cyr and fast-paced manipulation, all set to an eclectic soundtrack including the sounds of Gotye, Kanye and Goldfrapp.

A sensorial skirmish, Cataclysm is about how we perceive, watch, view and see each other, how we react and move in response, and about how a spark that can change the world.

Myopia

A short, hybrid work of circus, theatre and shadow play about objective perceptions.

Two women experience a life changing event together, but upon reflection have deeply conflicting recollections of what happened. Manipulating lights and shadows, Myopia is an arresting and fragmented narrative mixed with unconventional circus - a work that questions positionally, truth, and perception.
